Job Overview:
We seek an experienced, driven CNC Sales Manager to lead and mentor a team of 3-4 sales professionals. This leadership position is responsible for overseeing sales in multiple regions, including Dover, NH, Maine, North Shore Boston, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales leadership and an in-depth understanding of CNC equipment, tooling, fixtures, or machined parts. The role requires significant travel within the territory (50-60%) to provide hands-on coaching, support, and market development.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of 3-4 sales professionals, fostering a growth-oriented environment.
  • Support your team through “windshield time,” providing field-based guidance and training.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers across your region to drive market penetration and sales growth.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the successful execution of sales strategies and objectives.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings.
  • Travel regularly within the territory (50-60% of time), including some overnight stays.
  • Ensure sales goals and KPIs are met, with a focus on long-term customer satisfaction and team development.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree (3-4 year degree required).
  • Proven experience in direct sales management, with a track record of coaching, mentoring, and motivating a team of sales professionals.
  • In-depth understanding of CNC equipment, tooling, fixtures, or complex machined parts.
  • Strong leadership skills with a hands-on approach to managing and supporting your team in the field.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel frequently within the assigned territory (50-60% travel).
