What You'll Be Doing Support daily terminal operations, including material handling, truck and barge coordination, customer interactions, and administrative follow-up. Provide day-to-day operational support in the supervisor’s absence by helping coordinate work activities and maintain workflow continuity. Perform routine inspections, basic troubleshooting, preventive maintenance support, and minor repairs on terminal equipment. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational policies, procedures, and documentation requirements. Proactively identify equipment or operational issues and communicate or escalate concerns to leadership, vendors, maintenance teams, or appropriate internal partners. What Are We Looking For Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience troubleshooting or supporting maintenance of industrial, terminal, manufacturing, or similar equipment. Experience safely using hand tools, power tools, and basic diagnostic equipment. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, equipment instructions, schematics, and basic blueprints. Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices and the ability to recognize potential issues before they impact operations. Strong communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to support daily operations and interact professionally with customers, drivers, and internal teams. Work Environment This role operates in an industrial terminal setting with exposure to varying weather conditions, equipment noise, and moving machinery. The position may require standing, walking, lifting, and working flexible or extended hours as needed to support operations.
