Lead Trainer Responsibilities
Coaching Excellence
Deliver high-energy, results-driven group training sessions
Provide exercise modifications and progressions for all fitness levels
Ensure members are using proper form and technique safely
Create a welcoming, motivating, and inclusive class environment
Build strong relationships with members to enhance retention and community
Team Support
Assist in mentoring and developing coaching staff
Help maintain consistency in coaching standards and class delivery
Support onboarding and shadowing of new trainers
Communicate member concerns, injuries, or feedback to management
Studio Operations
Ensure classes start and finish on time
Oversee equipment setup, cleanliness, and floor organization
Assist with studio opening and closing responsibilities
Help manage class flow and coach-to-member engagement during peak sessions
Member Engagement & Retention
Welcome and engage new trial members
Encourage accountability and member participation in challenges/events
Assist with member check-ins and milestone celebrations
Support social media content by highlighting workouts and member experiences
Leadership Expectations
Lead by example with professionalism, punctuality, and energy
Maintain certifications and stay current on fitness education
