Job Overview:
As a Conveyancing Fee Earner, you will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload of residential property transactions, from inception to completion. You will work closely with clients, estate agents, and lenders, ensuring an efficient, accurate, and client-focused service. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the firm’s success while advancing your own career within a dynamic and supportive team.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage a varied caseload of residential property matters, including:
  • Sales and purchases
  • Re-mortgages
  • Transfers of equity
  • Right-to-buy cases
  • Shared ownership schemes
  • Lease extensions
  • Process cases efficiently and cost-effectively.
  • Communicate professionally and effectively with clients, estate agents, and lenders.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients and other sources of business.
  • Achieve fee income targets in alignment with business objectives.
  • Independently manage work allocation, productivity, and quality with minimal supervision.
Qualifications:
  • Relevant qualification (e.g., solicitor, CILEx, CLC) or significant experience managing a conveyancing caseload.
  • Recent hands-on experience in the legal profession.
  • Proven track record in conveyancing case management and fee generation.
  • Exceptional organisational and process management skills.
  • Commercial awareness and understanding of the importance of business targets.
  • Strong commitment to providing excellent client care.
  • Proficient in IT, with experience using web-based case management systems.
  • Skilled in handling client inquiries in person and by telephone.
