We are seeking an Action Officer to provide high‑tempo executive operations support to senior leadership within an advanced defense research environment. This role focuses on tracking taskings, managing leadership calendars, and preparing briefing materials for high‑level meetings.
Key Responsibilities (Narrative)
As an Action Officer, you will be responsible for tracking and coordinating a wide range of taskings, drills, and special requests to ensure they are completed on time and to the expected standard. You will manage taskings originating from both external organizations and internal leadership, helping to assign responsibilities, monitor progress, and keep stakeholders informed.
You will also maintain leadership calendars, including creating and accepting meeting invitations, coordinating visit requests, and de‑conflicting events. You will manage incoming communications—such as emails, calls, and messages—to support effective scheduling and ensure that leaders have the information and support they need to meet mission requirements.
In addition, you will support the preparation of major program reviews and other high‑level engagements by coordinating schedules, assembling read‑ahead materials, and supporting development of briefing content. You will assist in drafting and refining briefings, reports, and communication documents, including classified materials, ensuring they are accurate, clear, and delivered on time.
