We are a growing aerospace precision machining company seeking an experienced CMM Programmer / Quality Inspector to join our quality team. We specialize in tight-tolerance machining for demanding aerospace applications and are looking for someone who takes pride in precision, accuracy, and process control.Responsibilities

  • Program and operate CMM equipment for first article, in-process, and final inspections
  • Inspect complex aerospace components to tight tolerances
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and GD&T
  • Create and maintain inspection plans and quality documentation
  • Perform AS9102 First Article Inspections (FAIRs)
  • Use precision measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, optical comparators, and height gauges
  • Work closely with machinists, programmers, and engineering to resolve quality issues and improve processes
  • Ensure compliance with aerospace quality standards and customer specifications

Qualifications

  • Experience programming CMMs using PC-DMIS, or similar software
  • Strong understanding of GD&T and aerospace inspection requirements
  • Experience with AS9100 and ISO standards preferred
  • Ability to inspect complex machined components with tight tolerances
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
  • Experience in aerospace, defense, or high-precision manufacturing preferred
