Review and implement customer requirement specifications. * Lead technical direction to complete mechanical, electrical equipment and programming specifications for packaging machine orders. * Design electrical and pneumatic schematics, compile purchased parts lists; * Application design using custom OEM software for ancillary equipment. * Application design using industry standard software. * Assist with PLC/HMI programming, Software debugging, equipment commissioning Work closely with project teams and participate in activities related to development of new projects. * Will also work with customers to validate equipment. * Occasionally travel to customer facilities for site installations and service (S. in Computer Engineering, a related field, or a combination of education Knowledgeable of computer engineering design principles and methodologies * SQL * C# (or other scripting languages)
* PLC & HMI programming experience desired, but not required (FactoryTalk View, Studio 5000, RS Logix, general Allen Bradley equipment & software) * Electrical hardware and CAD schematic design experience desired, but not required (AutoCAD experience desired, but not required) * Mechanical aptitude and a self-starter
