Job Brief
Liquid Lifestyles is seeking dependable, hands-on Aquatics Facility Technicians to help maintain the safety, cleanliness, water quality, and operational readiness of our swim schools.
This is an active operational role focused on pool operations, preventative maintenance, facility upkeep, and overall facility presentation. Responsibilities include water testing and management, facility inspections, light maintenance and repair work, cleaning responsibilities, and general operational support.
Each technician is assigned primary responsibility for either our Westlake or North Royalton facility and is expected to take pride in maintaining high operational standards while helping create a safe, clean, and professional experience for clients, families, coaches, and staff. Technicians also work collaboratively with the facilities team to support operational consistency, rotating weekend coverage, and occasional assistance between both locations as needed.
Successful candidates are reliable, mechanically inclined, proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently with strong accountability and communication.
Typical schedules generally range between 20–30 hours per week depending on operational needs and candidate availability. Primary working hours are generally daytime on weekdays, with rotating weekend operational coverage required as part of the facilities team schedule. Occasional evening support, emergency response, or approved after-hours projects may also be required.
Compensation range is $25–34 per hour based on experience, skillset, certifications, and overall fit.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform pool inspections, water testing, and water chemistry adjustments Monitor pools, pumps, filters, heaters, and related systems Perform preventative maintenance and light repairs throughout the facility Identify and proactively address operational, maintenance, safety, or appearance concerns Maintain high cleanliness standards throughout pool decks, bathrooms, lobby areas, offices, storage rooms, and mechanical spaces Complete recurring operational and cleaning tasks Operate cleaning and maintenance equipment including floor scrubbers and pressure washers Assist with facility improvement projects and operational upgrades Organize tools, supplies, storage rooms, and work areas Support overall facility presentation, operational readiness, and professionalism REQUIREMENTS

Preferred Qualifications
Candidates should ideally possess one or more of the following:
Prior experience in aquatics, facilities, maintenance, custodial, construction, or operational roles Technical or trade experience in pool operations, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or carpentry Certified Pool & Spa Operator® (CPO®) or Aquatic Facility Operator (AFO) certification, or willingness to obtain after hire First Aid & CPR/AED certification, or willingness to obtain after hire
