This position reports to:
Production Supervisor

Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory)

In this role, you will be responsible for safety, quality and production in a plastic injection molding environment.

The work model for the role is onsite.

This role is contributing to the ABB ELIP Manufacturing facility in Portland, TN..

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Visual quality inspections of the product
  • Placing product in box with appropriate count in each box
  • Label product and boxes
  • Tape boxes
  • Lift and carry boxes up to 40 lbs.
  • Monitor equipment operation
  • Assist in training new employees
  • Maintain work area in clean and orderly fashion - 5S
  • Follow standard work instructions
  • Participate in Lead Manufacturing efforts and Kaizan events
  • Cover other positions following appropriate training, as needed

Qualifications for the role

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Minimum of one month or less of similar or related work experience
  • Ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions, write identifying information, request parts or supplies verbally or in writing.
