What you will do as an Energetic Assembler
β€’ Perform basic assembly and test functions utilizing mechanical skills, hand and power tools, mechanical/electronic tools, test equipment, assembly fixtures and inspection measurement equipment in a production environment.
β€’ Regularly handles hazardous and non-hazardous materials as part of the manufacturing process. (i.e. - Solvents, explosives, etc.)
β€’ Work requires the ability to read and understand Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Process Specifications (PS) to operate and setup machinery and related systems.
β€’ This position is responsible for ensuring the safe processing of products that meet customer and NDS quality requirements in accordance with time standards for his/her assigned area of production.
β€’ Performs general daily housekeeping and cleaning of equipment and area to ensure a safe working condition for all employees.
β€’ Performs general maintenance of equipment as required.
β€’ Able to recognize and report all operational variances as trained.
β€’ Must display competent dexterity to insure safe handling of explosive devices.
β€’ Weekend overtime may be required.
β€’ Performs minor set-up for specific equipment when required.
β€’ Must be able to wear and maintain Personal Protective Equipment (safety eyewear, FR coat and pants, conductive shoes and full-face air purifying respirator as required)

What you need to qualify as an Energetic Assembler
β€’ Experience in Aerospace, Energetic or Manufacturing Assembly
β€’ 2 years manufacturing experience preferred.
β€’ High School diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) is required.
β€’ Ability to walk / stand 80% of the time.
β€’ Able to lift 5 lbs. constantly, 25 lbs. occasionally, and 50 lbs. infrequently. Above 50 lbs. with a team lift.
β€’ Must have the ability to understand and speak English, as well as read and write in English.
β€’ Ability to accurately read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
β€’ Experience in manufacturing, assembly, and packaging.
β€’ Proficiency with Microsoft office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) preferred.
β€’ Ability to obtain and maintain an ATF Possessor license.
β€’ Ability to pass a background and drug test
