Job Description

We are a seeking an experienced assembler and machine operator who has the ability to perform a wide variety of electronic, electro-mechanical, mechanical or measurement product assembly operations on product components, assemblies or sub-assemblies.

What you'll do

The essential functions and key responsibilities for the position include, but are not limited to:

  • Follow production drawings, procedures and work instructions in detail, understands and applies established workmanship practices for all facets of satellites, medical, defense/aerospace and high reliability industrial applications
  • Ensure that quality checks are completed throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Operate and set up Manual Wire Bonding equipment to perform thermosonic gold wire and aluminum wire bonding.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other teammates, quality control and process engineers to ensure product meets strict specifications.
  • Attentiveness to details and adherence to safety and cleanliness protocols are essential.
  • Assist with training as required.
  • Perform production assembler duties as determined by Supervisor.
  • Delicate hand assembly of electronics devices using solder, epoxy, and wire bonding techniques specifically under the microscopes.
  • Inspect completed work to quality requirements.

What you need

  • Possess excellent manual dexterity, manufacturing knowledge. Experience with small parts, small hand tools, equipment, and microscope.
  • Ability to read and work from engineer drawings, work instructions and bills of material to understand the required parts and steps needed to complete the assigned assembly.
  • Possess a solid, quality minded work ethic and a strong attention to detail with a strong desire for precision and accuracy when executing job duties.
  • Knowledge of Foreign Object Debris (FOD control.)
  • Must be able to work overtime if required, on short notice.
  • High School Diploma and basic computer skills are a necessity.
  • A minimum of 2- 3 years of experience in a manufacturing assembly, production environment, or cleanroom experience is essential.
