This position will either be 1st or 2nd shift and will be discussed during the interview stages. You must be comfortable, flexible, and willing to work either shift.

We are seeking a skilled, experienced Assembler to join our team in a maritime manufacturing environment. In this role, you will assemble machines and equipment using tools, drawings, and standard procedures. You will work with a team to build and inspect high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities


  • Follow safety rules at all times
  • Assemble parts, machines, and equipment based on drawings and instructions
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices
  • Perform quality checks during and after assembly
  • Safely use cranes and rigging equipment
  • Prepare products for shipping
  • Handle basic hydraulic systems and shaft alignments
  • Assist with training and mentoring less experienced team members
  • Perform other duties as needed

Qualifications


  • At least 1 year of prior experience as an Assembler; preferably in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Ability to read blueprints and use basic math and measuring tools
  • Comfortable working on elevated equipment and surfaces
  • Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Able to stand, bend, and crouch for extended periods
