Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical components, subassemblies, and finished products according to specifications
- Use hand tools, small power tools, and specialized assembly equipment safely and effectively
- Interpret and follow technical drawings, blueprints, work instructions, and written directions
- Perform rework or reassembly of units as required to meet quality standards
- Identify and report quality issues, defects, or process concerns
- Provide guidance, mentoring, and informal leadership to less experienced assemblers as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Comply with all safety, quality, and company policies
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of three (3) years of relevant mechanical assembly experience
- Demonstrated ability to read and understand technical drawings and written work instructions
- Proficiency with hand tools and small power tools
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Effective communication skills
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, sit, or move for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry materials up to 40lbs.
