About the role

The Assembler is responsible for producing high-quality products and components by accurately assembling parts and subassemblies. This position requires careful review of assembly instructions, blueprints, and visual guides to ensure efficient, precise, and consistent output. Assemblers play an essential role in meeting production standards and supporting the overall success of the production team.

The Assembler works out of our IDP facility in Pembroke Park, Florida.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble components according to work instructions, verbal guidance, drawings, and diagrams, following established sequences.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Verify connections for proper fit and securely fasten all parts and subassemblies.
  • Use appropriate power tools and hand tools required for assembly tasks.
  • Monitor product quality and equipment performance; report issues promptly to maintain production standards.
  • Maintain an inventory of parts, materials, and tools used during assembly.
  • Test finished products for defects or performance issues.
  • Accurately document production activities, inspections, and quality checks using required forms or systems.
  • Keep the production area clean, organized, and free of dust and debris.
  • Follow all safety rules, policies, and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support production goals.

Qualifications

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish with effective communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to a fast-paced production environment.

Work Environment & Physical Demands
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Able to work in an environment where noise levels may be higher due to machinery/equipment usage.

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment preferred.
