As an Assistant Manager at Discount Tire in our Retail Operations department, you will play a key leadership role in ensuring an exceptional customer experience in our automotive tires, wheels, and service environment. Working closely with the Store Manager, you will help oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, scheduling, inventory control, and maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient shop and sales floor. You will lead by example, engaging customers on the sales floor, understanding their needs, and offering expert advice on tire and wheel selections, related services, and safety considerations, all while upholding Discount Tire’s standards for honesty, courtesy, and professionalism.
In this role, you will coach, train, and support a team of Customer Service Representatives and tire technicians, helping them build product knowledge, refine their customer service skills, and follow established procedures for installations, repairs, and inspections.
