What will you do?
  • With limited supervision, perform a variety of mechanical assembly of component parts as assigned following standard procedures, work instructions and/or drawings using several types of hand tools, pneumatic tools, gauges and fixtures.

What skills and capabilities will make you successful?
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively
  • Ability to physically move material from prime location to point of use
  • Pack out procedures
  • Read BOM and Job travelers
  • Identify parts and their location
  • Perform final build of products > 6 months
  • Perform a variety of mechanical assembly of component parts as assigned following standard procedures, work instructions and/or drawings
  • Ensure proper assembly of component parts into assemblies from procedures, work instructions and/or drawings
  • Assure quality of all work produced and assure quality of work received from previous operations.
  • Operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner as directed

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
  • Understanding of World Class manufacturing principles is desirable
  • Ability to perform simple shop math
  • Ability to read bill of materials
  • Ability to read and comprehend blueprints and manufacturing instructions
  • Ability to identify and to use hand tools, pneumatic tools, fixtures and gauges
