Essential Functions

- Purchases and procures quality materials for both stock and purchase-to-order in the most economical, logical, and ethical way, not compromising the service level or quality of our products for resale, while maintaining a professional relationship between suppliers.

- Utilizes SAP to improve the material procurement process. Monitors and maintains the correct product mix inventory for each branch. Reviews and analyzes item history and usage reports.

- Assists and maintains Curbell's system of Inventory Management, providing feedback on areas for improvement. Includes reduction of slow moving or problematic materials, maximizing vendor rebates, and purchasing at a competitive price

- Maintains a centralized, up-to-date filing system on suppliers, including present and past pricing, vendor contacts, and current and past purchase orders.

- Notifies the business of changes to vendor contacts, pricing, market conditions, or supply chain updates.

- Performs other duties as assigned.
