General Summary: The Manager in Training 's primary responsibility is to participate in training experiences, learn new skills, and to demonstrate increasing proficiency and expertise with managerial responsibilities. The management trainee program will prepare the trainee for decisions s/he will be making, and the actions s/he will be taking in the areas of people management, operations management, and resolution of customer complaints when s/he assumes the role of store manager. The MIT assists the Manager in all aspects of daily shift management by performing the following duties. The measures are: Increasing the speed of vehicles through the wash (speed) Decreasing the number of errors made while cleaning the vehicle (quality and safety) Increasing the positive feelings of the customer for the entire experience (friendliness) Increasing bottom line revenue. The measures are: Increasing the extra-service sales (dollar per car) Maintaining labor percentages within acceptable ranges (human resource management) Maintain budgeted operational costs (optimization) Developing Skills. The measures are: Obtaining full utilization of production procedures (100%) Increasing the number of tasks performed per person (cross-training) Decreasing problems with equipment and chemicals (shutdowns) Must have your own reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
