Northwell’s Department of Cardiology is seeking a full-time BE/BC Non-invasive Cardiologist to join our Cardiology team at Peconic Bay Medical Center in Riverhead, NY.
The ideal candidate will be board certified/eligible in cardiovascular disease and echocardiography. Nuclear cardiology and cardiac CTA certification are desirable. .
Northwell’s Department of Cardiology has seen tremendous growth over the past several years within Long Island, New York City, Staten Island, and Westchester, with the goal of providing comprehensive, integrated health and wellness services. Northwell employs 84,000 individuals – including 18,900 nurses and 4,900 employed doctors, including 320 cardiologists and 35 cardio-thoracic surgeons. Our team strives to work together to improve health. Founded in 1951 as Central Suffolk Hospital, Peconic Bay Medical Center is the largest hospital in Eastern Suffolk County, and the Eastern Hub of Northwell, the largest healthcare organization in New York State. As a non-for-profit 200-bed community hospital, we serve as the primary resource for advanced healthcare services for the 250,000+ residents of the Riverhead area, Eastern Central Suffolk County, and Long Island's North Fork, including our Interventional Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Suite with STEMI capabilities, Level III Trauma Center, and NYS-Designated Stroke Center.
