Job Responsibilities Case Mix and Collegial Workflow: * Case mix of subspecialty as well as general radiology worklist assignments * General radiology would include covering busy level-one trauma and accredited thrombectomy capable stroke center hospital including MSK/Neuro/Chest/Body imaging including CT/US/Radiographs * Not Required: Mammography,, IR beyond arthrograms * Collegial workflow including strongly encouraged and promoted consultations with other Radiologists through in-PACS image sharing and chat functions for difficult and unusual cases Other Expectations: * All Roanoke based Radiologists receive academic appointments at the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine * Light teaching requirements including medical students and non-Radiology residents * Participation in tumor boards and practice quality improvement is expected * Participation in research as a principal investigator is NOT required. There are no requirements for scholarly publications. If there is interest in Radiologist initiated research projects, we have support resources including a dedicated research coordinator to help with IRB, consents, patient enrollment, and image management.
