Job Summary and Qualifications

  • Assisting physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures, including angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements
  • Preparing and supporting patients and families with care, education, and reassurance before, during, and after procedures
  • Operating and maintaining advanced equipment to deliver safe and effective treatment
  • Monitoring patient responses with vigilance and compassion to ensure the highest level of care
  • Safeguarding a sterile, safe environment while serving as an advocate for every patient
What qualifications you will need:
  • Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multistate Registered Nurse license, or current registration as Registered Radiology Technologist (ARRT), or current certification as Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS);
  • Current AHA or ARC BCLS certification
  • Current AHA or ARC ACLS certification.
  • Graduate of a 2 year Associate Degree/Diploma (BSN preferred), accredited RTR and/or RCIS training program.
  • 2 years experience in critical care nursing preferred (RN), 2 years experience in interventional radiology procedures (RTR) preferred. 2 years experience in cardiovascular lab setting preferred (RCIS).
