Essential Job Functions:
* Must have experience supervising daily flight operations personnel supporting scheduled and unscheduled maintenance. * Knowledgeable of technical directives and CNAFINST 4790.2 Series; be knowledgeable of and understand basic supply procedures; possess a working knowledge of applicable aircraft and shall have worked a minimum of one year in a maintenance/production control position. * Prior military Personnel with Aviation Ordnance, Parachute Rigger, and Aviation Maintenance Administration ratings will not be accepted to fill VX-31 Maintenance Control billets. * Recent experience with F-18A-F, EA-18G, MH-60S aircraft strongly preferred.
Minimum Education and Experience Required:
* High school graduate or equivalent, plus successful completion of related military or commercial courses. * Prior military Personnel with Aviation Ordnance, Parachute Rigger, and Aviation Maintenance Administration ratings will not be accepted to fill VX-31 Maintenance Control billets * Possess an extensive background in the field of aircraft maintenance and material support with a minimum of 15 years of experience with 10 years of the last 15 years in direct aircraft maintenance repair, inspection, and modification. * Of the ten years of experience in aircraft maintenance, six years shall be in a supervisory position that included responsibility for assigning program workloads as well as duties for entire shifts. * Must have experience supervising daily flight operations personnel supporting scheduled and unscheduled maintenance. May be required to lift to 50 pounds Must have a valid driver’s license Must possess a U.S. Secret Clearance and be able to maintain Must be available to work any shift Must be U.S. Citizen Travel may be required
