Hours: 7a to 3:30p with rotating weekend, call and holiday schedules

What you will do: The Perioperative Clinical Coordinator is a Registered Professional Nurse who: ?Has accountability for perioperative nursing care provided in his/her designated surgical specialties. ? Coordinates department throughput, efficiencies, resources and staffing. ? Secures/Procures and maintains supplies, equipment and instruments necessary to deliver optimal surgical care ? Coordinates perioperative workflows, activities, and communicate to all key stakeholders working with or in the perioperative areas. What you will need: Education: BSN or currently enrolled in BSN program.

Degree must be acquired within 24 mths, from an accredited nursing program, of hire.

Certification/License: IL RN License

CPR BLS issued by American Heart Association

Experience

Experience in OR setting

Team building, leadership acumen, critical thinking and effective communication.

Must demonstrate competency in care of all patient age groups specific to specialty.

Competencies are unit/specialty specific.
