Responsibilities

Provides administrative oversight and support in collaboration with the Unit Director/Manager Assumes unit administrative responsibility in the absence of the Director/Manager Develops and implements departmental plans, performance improvement initiatives, and regulatory compliance Oversees staff orientation, training, and ongoing education Communicates effectively with staff, physicians, and leadership (verbal and written) Accountable for staff performance, patient care quality, and unit operations during assigned shift Supports daily unit operations, including supervising, directing, and evaluating personnel Ensures efficient use of staff, equipment, and resources Provides direct patient care as needed within scope of practice Continuously assesses patient care and directs staff to adjust plans of care as needed

Qualifications

Current and valid state Registered Nurse license. Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred. Current Basic Life Support certificate (BLS) upon hire and maintain current. Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) upon hire and maintain current. Minimum of one (1) year of Clinical Supervisor RN experience required. Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certificate preferred for Intensive Care. Non-OB Facilities – NRP Required upon hire and maintained. Equal Employment Opportunity:
