Your Key Responsibilities

  • Complete 7,000 - 8,000 hours between the College Program and on-the-job training (OJT) in our manufacturing facilities
  • Assists with monthly preventative maintenance on machines and equipment
  • Running and CNC machine set up
  • Drive Technical Improvement activities as prioritized by production management and defined by Process Engineering (scrap, efficiency, utilization, quality, cost, cycle time)
  • Support small step improvements related to quality, costs, logistics and motivation
  • Reduce direct expenses by standardizing and optimizing tooling and machine components
  • Adheres to company policies, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices including 5-S standards
  • Know and understand the current specifications of the Quality Policy and Procedures, and the Safety and Environmental Policy and Procedures and contributes to the achievement of these objectives
  • Successfully complete, to the Company's specification, courses of study required for the CNC Machinist Certification

Your Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Successful completion of the Compass Placement Test (required for school admission)
  • Ability to move or lift 35 pounds
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment VISA or other sponsorship
