Key Activities/Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate CNC machines.
  • Review work order, pull necessary equipment, position work piece and operate various machines through production runs to form specified quantities to defined tolerances.
  • Deburr parts as needed.
  • Perform in process part inspection and notify Supervisor of non-conformance.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and ensure machines are operating optimally.
  • Communicate with managers, production control, quality and other shop personnel for assignments and to resolve quality issues.
  • Document outstanding issues either written or verbally to ensure smooth transition between shift
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement of our products and processes to better serve our customers and improve the overall profitability of Jetstream
  • Maintain a neat and orderly work area complying with all 5S initiatives and advise Production Supervisor of any maintenance problems that may need to be resolved.
  • Follow and comply with all safety and personal protective equipment requirements.
  • Cross train in other areas to include; Small Assembly, Shipping, Large Assembly, Machining and Receiving.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years setting up and operating CNC Machines, required
  • Previous experience machining plastic, strongly preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret Blueprints/Technical Drawing, required
  • Ability to perform various machining operation in accordance with part specifications, required

Pay Transparency

Anticipated hourly wage: $20 - $24/hour depending on years or relevant experience.
