Brennan Industries is hiring 1st shift CNC Machinists in Euclid, OH to set up and operate CNC production machines and manufacture parts to customer orders. You'll work from work orders and blueprints, keep equipment running through basic maintenance and troubleshooting, and maintain production/quality records. This position is responsible for setup and operating CNC production machines to manufacture parts to meet customer orders. Experience preferred. We offer a competitive shift differential for applicable schedules, along with overtime opportunities based on business needs.
Job Duties:
- Maintain production equipment to meet customer orders.
- Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, material specifications, drawings, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters; interpreting dimensions and tolerances.
- Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
- Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufactures instructions; troubleshooting malfunction.
- Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
- Maintain production and quality records.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Basic math
- Blueprint reading
- Basic knowledge of G and M codes.
- Utilize various measuring gages.
- Attention to detail and communication skills, oral and written.
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 2 years experience as a CNC machine operator
