As an Electrician at Corteva Agriscience, you will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on low- and medium-voltage equipment, including motor control centers, VFDs, control panels, lighting, and distribution systems. You will interpret electrical drawings and schematics, diagnose faults using meters and test equipment, and complete repairs that minimize downtime and maintain product quality. You will also support the installation and commissioning of new equipment, running conduit and cable, wiring panels, and verifying that systems meet electrical codes, company standards, and safety requirements.
Safety is central to this position. You will apply Lockout/Tagout procedures, adhere to OSHA and NFPA 70E electrical safety practices, and help identify and correct electrical hazards in a proactive manner. You will participate in safety meetings, contribute to job hazard analyses, and document your work through our computerized maintenance management system. You will collaborate closely with maintenance technicians, mechanics, operators, and engineering teams to plan work, coordinate shutdowns, and troubleshoot complex issues affecting production and research activities.
