Summary This position performs installation and maintenance of Business Systems Network Equipment on Voice, Microwave, Radio and Data systems. With a reporting center of the Amarillo Operations Service Center. Required 1. SPS employees must be a journey worker and or have a two-year Technical Degree in Electronics, Digital Equipment, and Telecommunications. If the applicant from within the company has the required two-year degree and has obtained the journeyman level, the applicant will start as a Technician B. 2. Must have valid driver's license 3. This job will require to be on emergency callout list for 7x24 callouts. 4. Inside and outside work required. 5. Must be able to lift and carry 30 pounds daily and lift up to 70 pounds occasionally. 6. Some overnight travel will be required in this position.
