Every day, each Fooda location is served by a different restaurant that comes onsite and serves fresh lunch from their chef’s unique menu. Fooda is currently recruiting for a part time Event Coordinator in our Boston market. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with a hospitality or events background who are eager to learn about food service, work with great customers, and support a broad network of excellent local restaurants. Support Fooda events in a variety of capacities, including: being onsite to set-up, tear down, clean equipment and site areas, problem-solve, and ensure high quality set-up and customer experience Gain competency with Fooda’s technology and standard operations procedures Troubleshoot technical issues with point-of-sale (POS) system, onsite technology, and TV menu boards Conduct onsite Fooda promotions and mobile app coaching Provide real-time onsite customer service to resolve issues promptly directly with the consumer Facilitate audits of restaurant event set-up to ensure consistency and high quality Escalate issues to Operations Manager when necessary to keep them informed or help problem solve You love building relationships with customers and enjoy customer service You’re someone who knows the local territory and gets around efficiently in your own car You’re looking for a steady part-time job (between 12 - 15 hours per week) during regular business hours and value flexibility Prior catering or serving experience strongly preferred 401k Retirement Savings Plan with company match ~ Networking opportunities for work or career with local restaurants ~ A fulfilling, challenging work experience and free food!
