Department: Corrections Grade: 280 Salary: $37.01/hour Job Duties: Responsible for assisting Managers, Administrators and Command Staff by coordinating policy development; researching and recommending revisions to the corrections, policies, and procedures; integrating professional correctional practices as recommended by national accrediting agencies. Work includes serving as Project Manager for the acquisition and maintenance of accreditation and serving as Department liaison to accrediting agencies Directly supervises the Physical Security and Safety Administrator. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university, in one of the Behavioral Sciences, Correctional, Police or Public Administration. Five years of experience in a correctional facility. Must possess/maintain an active telephone in his/her residence. Must submit to and pass a police background check, motor vehicle record check and drug screen.
