We're hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a travel contract role at a great facility. Under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you’ll help patients regain the skills they need for everyday life. Minimum Requirements Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college. Active South Dakota State COTA license or ability to obtain an active South Dakota COTA license prior to start. BLS Certification from AHA or ARC required prior to start. Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a COTA in a Skilled Nursing Facility or long-term care setting preferred. Experience providing restorative programs, ADL retraining, and durable medical equipment (DME) recommendations preferred. Ability to work with geriatric populations, cognitive impairment, and medically complex patients preferred.

Assignment Details Facility Type: Skilled Nursing Facility. Shift Details: Days. Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week. Assignment Length: 13-week assignment.
