DeAngelo Contracting Services (DCS) is looking to hire an Industrial Vegetation Management Spray Technician (IVM Technician) to join our team. This person will handle using equipment to perform herbicide applications to the county and state roadside rights-of-way to control unwanted vegetation. This position handles spraying complete weed, grass, and brush control to various commercial or industrial sites.
This position is seasonal
Applies herbicide to control weeds, grass, and brush to various commercial and industrial sites, including but not limited to oil refineries, solar fields, substations, and gas lines.
Calibrates all spray equipment.
Conducts truck inspections (responsible for truck/spray system maintenance and repairs).
ABILITY TO TRAVEL
High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
Ability to travel 1-2 weeks at a time (paid by company)
Experience with mobile IOS Operation System is a plus.
Work days, nights, weekends, and overtime, as needed, in adverse outdoor conditions.
Commercial Applicator’s License is preferred. (Excellent Medical, Dental, Vision and Prescription Drug Plan
