Data Network Technician role supporting end-user and network-related hardware/software troubleshooting, maintenance and repairs at Climax Molybdenum (Freeport-McMoRan), an established mining and milling operation. You’ll handle PCs, peripherals and voice/cellular systems with some networking work in a safety-first, collaborative onsite environment. We have operated in Colorado for more than 100 years, with mining and milling operations near Leadville, Kremmling and Empire. Our Climax Mine is located between Frisco and Leadville - the seat of Lake County and the highest incorporated city in the United States.

Two (2) years of experience in computer/electronic systems hardware/software troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair. Demonstrated technical expertise in the installation, repair and maintenance of PC hardware, software, printers, fax machines and telephone handsets. Ability to effectively analyze, troubleshoot and diagnose issues with computers, peripherals, cellular and voice systems. Basic understanding of networking concepts, protocols and technology including wireless networking equipment Ability to work weekends, holidays, rotating shifts and both scheduled and unscheduled overtime as business dictates. Must be customer service-oriented and possess good organizational skills. High School diploma or GED Network+ Certification
This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance.
