Supervise daily operations in assigned dining areas, ensuring excellent service and compliance with established policies and procedures Train, schedule, coach, and support food service staff to maintain a professional, team-oriented environment Respond promptly and professionally to resident concerns to ensure high satisfaction and quality service Maintain a safe, clean, and productive dining environment through routine inspections and oversight Assist with hiring, onboarding, and staff development in partnership with the Director of Dining Services Support dining programs, regulatory inspections, and special projects as assigned by the Director of Dining Services High school diploma or equivalent required ~1–3 years of restaurant or institutional food service experience preferred ~ Knowledge of food handling, service standards, and sanitation practices ~ Illinois Department of Public Health sanitation certification preferred ~ Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
