Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive media relations strategy aligned with company goals
  • Build and maintain relationships with journalists, media outlets, and industry influencers
  • Manage press outreach, media pitching, and interview coordination
  • Draft and distribute press releases, media kits, and company announcements
  • Monitor media coverage and track brand visibility and sentiment
  • Collaborate with marketing and leadership teams on campaigns and messaging
  • Manage crisis communications and reputation management when needed
  • Identify opportunities for speaking engagements, partnerships, and press features


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in media relations, public relations, or communications
  • Proven track record of securing media coverage and building press relationships
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills
  • Experience working in events, entertainment, or production industries is a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field (preferred)
