Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble electrical components, wire harnesses, panels, or units at a bench, workstation, or designated location.
- Interpret and follow blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, work instructions, and other technical documents.
- Use hand tools, small power tools, crimpers, measurement devices, and specialized equipment to complete work accurately and safely.
- Inspect work in progress and completed assemblies to ensure conformance to quality, engineering, and safety standards.
- Perform rework, repair, or reassembly of units as required to meet specifications.
- Maintain proper documentation of work performed, including production records, quality checks, and test results.
- Communicate issues or discrepancies to supervisors, engineering, or quality teams as appropriate.
- Follow all company safety procedures, policies, and manufacturing best practices.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience
- Minimum of three (3) years of relevant electrical assembly experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Experience interpreting electrical drawings and using electrical assembly tools required.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, sit, bend, reach, and lift up to 40 lbs. as necessary.
- Manual dexterity required for working with small components and tools.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with moderate noise and activity.
Compensation Information:
$22.00 - $22.50/hr depending on experience
