Job Description

The role performs a variety of repetitive tasks to assemble products or subassemblies according to clearly defined methods and sequences. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to follow written instructions and diagrams. Assemblers may work independently or as part of a team, often collaborating with engineers to ensure product quality and process efficiency.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or schematics.
  • Experience working in lean manufacturing or continuous improvement setting.

Accountability

  • Follow basic safety practices (awareness of different rules for different work areas). Follow PPE requirements.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail. Retain nuances in different building processes.
  • Basic assembly knowledge. Manual Dexterity. Willing to take directions from peers in addition to supervisors.
  • Capability to comprehend and follow work instructions. Able to collaborate with a colleague during training activities until familiar with product builds.
  • Abide by and reflect ITW values and Behaviors - Integrity, Respect, Trust, Shared Risk and Simplicity
  • Desire to learn from and work with a team of highly performing individuals. Willing and able to commit to being an integral part of a successful team.
  • Regular interactions with Engineering to aid in troubleshooting issues, updating work instructions, etc. Engaging with Purchasing and Quality when needed for part issues or non-conformities.
  • Demonstrated reliability in past roles.

Education

Compensation Information:

This position has a starting salary range of $22.00 to $24.50 per hour. Pay is determined by several factors, including a candidate's experience, relevant skills, and qualifications
