Position Summary

To provide maintenance, repairs and service to all building and/or production equipment and assist in providing customer service requests to all onsite personnel. Assist in all improvements onsite.

Responsibilities

  • To provide upkeep and repairs to the internal and external of buildings thru general carpentry and plumbing skills
  • Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns or situations.
  • Ensure assigned equipment is operating properly or provide the needed repairs to return equipment to proper operations.
  • HVAC experience and certification is a plus
  • Receive daily instruction on tasks and priorities to support building and personnel.
  • Replenish and maintain consumables for employee requirements.
  • Ensure all equipment is maintained according to manufacturer's instructions and on schedule.
  • Fill out all needed documentation of maintenance performed.
  • Inspect equipment and systems to ensure proper function.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work-space for yourself and other employees.
  • Respond to service tickets and requests from onsite personnel are attended to in a timely manner.
  • Adhere to all local and federal safety regulations, standards, and company policy.
  • Assist where needed in making improvements to any and all spaces onsite.

Requirements

  • Proficient with hand tools and troubleshooting equipment failure analysis.
  • Ability to stand long periods, bending, climbing ladders, lifting 50 lbs.
  • Exposed to inclement weather outside- heat and/or cold to maintain outside equipment.
  • Able to be on call occasionally on weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to certify on forklift, scissor lift and other equipment as needed

Skills

  • Mechanical aptitude and Electrical aptitude.
  • Plumbing knowledge and HVAC knowledge.
  • Computer use of Microsoft suite.
  • CMMS knowledge.
  • Read schematics and blue prints.
  • Troubleshooting of equipment.
  • HVAC troubleshooting.
  • Drywall and painting experience.

Experience

  • 3 to 5 years' experience preferred.

Education

  • Trade school graduates preferred.
