Qualifications for Mechanic:
The Skyworks Midland branch needs an experienced A Mechanic to work on our equipment at customer job sites.
Duties and responsibilities for Mechanic:
- maintain the branch's equipment fleet
- diagnose and fix issues with equipment at a customer's job site
- inspect diesel engines, equipment hydraulics, and electrical systems to determine needs for repair or replacement of parts
- conduct routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and equipment testing
- prepare and maintain accurate records on the maintenance and repair of equipment, including warranty records
- ability to work well independently with excellent communication skills
Qualifications for Mechanic:
- electrical and hydraulic experience
- experience repairing construction equipment- JLG, Takeuchi, Kubota, Genie, JCB preferred
- certifications of Cummins, Deutz, Kubota engines a plus
- customer service experience
- valid driver's license with safe driving history
