Black Walnut Wealth Management is seeking a Financial Advisor for our financial planning and investment advisory firm in Traverse City, MI. We take a coordinated approach to wealth management, helping clients with investment, tax and estate planning primarily for individuals nearing retirement or retired. We aim to manage the complexities of our clients' finances providing peace of mind. We are seeking a Financial Advisor who is passionate about helping others achieve their financial goals. The Financial Advisor will play a key role in proactively taking care of current and future clients to assist them with their long-term financial goals. We provide independent, objective, and unbiased financial counseling to our clients and this position is critical in helping us best serve them. Prepare financial plans for clients that consider their specific preferences, values, goals, and priorities with a vision to accomplish the client's personal and financial goals. Provide support for the financial planning needs of the firm's clients (managing partner and own). Collaborate with internal teams, such as compliance, investment operations, and client service, to ensure all client-related activities are executed efficiently and in line with company standards. Maintain accurate client records, manage CRM data, and generate reports as needed to support advisors in tracking client activity, portfolio performance, and service delivery. Execute trades and portfolio rebalancing for client accounts 3 years of experience in financial services ~ Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation ~ Ability to learn new concepts and software packages ~ Must interact effectively with office staff and be a goal-oriented team player ~ Experience with our software is not required but would be a plus:
