The main purpose of this position is to assist the Fleet Manager in day-to-day operations of the Fleet Maintenance Shop. This position is accountable for all aspects of truck and trailer parts inventory control to include researching reasons for inventory discrepancies. Additional duties include ordering and receiving parts, answering phone calls, and general office procedures such as filing and record keeping.
Education/Training:
High School Graduate or Equivalent required.
Related Experience/Requirements:
Knowledge of Class 8 Tractor/Trailer Repair is a plus.
Experience in Fleet Maintenance is a plus.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Good Interpersonal Skills, Detail-Oriented, Ability to Communicate Effectively, Self-Starter, And Ability to Prioritize and Be “Hands On”.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.
