Care Pro Lead (Full-Time Caregiver Lead)

At Home Instead, our mission is to make life better for older adults and the caregivers who support them. As a Care Pro Lead, you’ll build on your caregiving experience by providing high-quality care while also supporting smooth client starts and helping ensure consistent care coverage.

This is a full-time caregiving role designed for experienced caregivers who are comfortable in a variety of situations and enjoy supporting both clients and fellow caregivers. Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) are highly encouraged to apply!

What You’ll Do

As a Care Pro Lead, you’ll provide hands-on care while supporting overall care delivery:

  • Provide compassionate, high-quality care to older adults in their homes
  • Support new client starts, helping ensure a smooth transition into care
  • Step in for urgent or last-minute shift coverage to prevent gaps in care
  • Review care plans and notes to ensure care aligns with client needs
  • Assist with hands-on training and support for other caregivers, as needed
  • Help maintain consistent, reliable care for clients across the community
  • Build meaningful relationships with clients and families

This role is essential in helping ensure every client receives dependable, high-quality care.

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of professional caregiving experience (non-family) OR active CNA, HHA, LVN/LPN, or RN license
  • Experience with dementia care and end-of-life support
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable supporting and guiding other caregivers when needed
  • Ability to adapt to changing schedules or client needs
  • Basic English reading, writing, and communication skills
  • Comfortable using a smartphone app for scheduling and documentation

Requirements

  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel up to 60 minutes
  • Ability to take on shifts on short notice when needed
  • Ability to meet physical job requirements, including assisting with mobility and transfers
  • Must pass background check, drug screening, and required assessments
  • Willingness to work in homes with pets or smoking environments

Schedule

Thursday-Monday: 7:00am-7:00pm of availability

Compensation

Ranging from $20.00-$22.50 depending on experience
