Sedgebrook is seeking a friendly, hospitality-focused Server to join our dining team. No formal serving experience is required - we're happy to train the right person. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in providing warm, attentive service, and wants to make a meaningful difference in the daily lives of our residents.
Key Responsibilities
* Create a welcoming, positive dining experience for residents and guests. * Provide gracious, courteous, and attentive table service. * Take orders, deliver meals, and respond to resident requests with care. * Answer menu-related questions confidently (training provided). * Set tables and maintain workstations in an organized, clean manner. * Follow food quality, sanitation, and cleanliness standards at all times.
What We're Looking For
* A friendly, customer-service-oriented attitude. * Interest in hospitality, service, and working with older adults. * Willingness to learn - serving experience is preferred but not required. * High school diploma or GED. * Ability to understand and follow instructions in English and communicate effectively. * Experience working with seniors is a plus, but not required. * Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Physical Requirements
* Ability to stand and walk for 100% of the workday. * Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and balance throughout the shift. * Ability to lift and carry up to 20 lbs. * Ability to push or pull carts weighing up to 50 lbs.
