Job Summary and ResponsibilitiesVirginia Mason Franciscan Health is seeking a General Surgeon for a full-time position on the beautiful campus of St. Michael Medical Center in Silverdale, WA. This is an excellent opportunity to practice in a collegial, multidisciplinary care environment with superb support staff. The selected surgeon will join a well-established practice of general surgeons and three advanced practice providers. This opportunity includes a mix of clinic, OR, and rounding as needed.

We pride ourselves in practicing high quality and patient centered medical care. Our ideal candidate will be an exceptional clinician with excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to patient-centered care and teamwork. Work includes a mix of outpatient and inpatient with shared call responsibilities which are currently 1:8. We offer a starting salary guarantee with a competitive compensation model that follows the guarantee period. Our comprehensive benefit package includes health, dental, vision, malpractice coverage, CME, personal time off, and 401 (k) retirement plan with employer match and 457b plan. We are offering Relocation Assistance and a Starting Bonus.

The position is located at St. Michael Medical Center in Kitsap County. It is located on a Peninsula where you'll be surrounded by water in every direction, mountains, beautiful landscapes, and fresh air! This is a great place to visit or live for outdoor enthusiasts. Many outdoor activities that include hiking, biking, kayaking, and whale watching! The hospital is on a beautiful campus built in 2020. There are views of the Olympic mountains to the west and nearby walking & hiking trails. If you prefer to venture off into the city on your days off Seattle is just a ferry ride away.
