The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai affiliated with NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst and Queens is seeking a full time Urologist. We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated physician interested in working with an urban, ethnically diverse, underserved population in a dynamic and supportive academic setting. The hospital is easily accessible by public transportation and car from all areas of New York City, New Jersey and Long Island.
Responsibilities will include direct patient care and the teaching and supervision of Mount Sinai Urology residents and students in an academic community hospital setting. We are most in need of general urology but have subspecialty need for urologists with additional experience in robotics, reconstruction, female/pelvic medicine, voiding dysfunction and endourology. The division has multiple physician assistants, robots, urology residents and medical students rotation through the service at all times.
Candidates must have a MD degree, Urology Residency or Clinical Fellowship training and have a valid New York State License, DEA and Medicaid number. We are open to international candidates who completed a clinical fellowship in the US and need H1B Visas or to work in an underserved area to become American Board of Urology eligible. We offer a faculty appointment with the Icahn School of Medical at Mount Sinai commensurate with credentials, experience and qualifications. We also offer a highly competitive compensation and benefits package including CME. Compensation ranges from $362,418 to $470k including on-call coverage and faculty practice distributions throughout the academic year. Scheduling is flexible and call responsibilities will be no more than 1 in 4 and are also flexible. Visa sponsorship is supported.
