The ideal candidate

will be a board-certified/board-eligible cardiologist with advanced heart failure and transplant training, demonstrated expertise in GDMT optimization and complex hemodynamics, experience coordinating advanced therapies (LVAD/transplant) within a multidisciplinary heart team, and a strong commitment to patient-centered care, education, and program-building at Staten Island University Hospital. The Advanced Heart Failure program at Northwell Health is a multi-disciplinary team including heart failure cardiologists and surgeons, trainees, nurse practitioners, and registered nurses, as well as pharmacy, behavioral health, social work, and nutritional services. To make the transition as smooth as possible, you will have partners who have a wealth of experience in all the specialty areas of cardiology. There is a true camaraderie within the group.
