LocumTenens.com is seeking a Board Certified, fellowship-trained Hospice & Palliative Care Physician to provide inpatient palliative consults and supervise a Palliative Care NP at a 329-bed hospital in Northern Georgia. This is a Monday–Friday day-shift locums assignment (ASAP start, up to 6 months) with no call or holiday coverage required.

The physician will provide comprehensive inpatient palliative care consultations for adult patients and supervise a Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner. The schedule includes Monday through Friday coverage from 8 AM to 5 PM with no call obligations or holiday requirements. Daily responsibilities involve evaluating 2-3 new palliative care consultations and conducting follow-up assessments on 2-3 existing patients. Documentation must be completed using the Cerner EMR system while maintaining Board Certification and Fellowship training in Palliative Care with recent experience within the past 12 months.
