Pediatric Hospitalist Position Overview
In this pediatric hospitalist role, you will play a vital part in shaping the inpatient pediatric experience, ensuring high-quality care delivery while collaborating closely with specialists, nursing teams, and community providers. Key Responsibilities for Pediatric Hospitalist
Provide direct inpatient care, including daily rounds, admissions, and discharges
Collaborate with subspecialists, surgeons, and primary care providers to ensure coordinated, high-quality care
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to resident education and mentorship
Care provided within a Level II NICU / Special Care Nursery environment
Practice based at MyMichigan Medical Center - Midland, a respected regional healthcare facility
Out-of-house call model supporting improved work-life balance
Structured 24-hour shift schedule
Collegial, team-oriented culture with strong clinical and administrative support
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
~ Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
~ Eligible for Michigan medical licensure
