Are you an experienced ICU nurse ready to take on a new challenge in a dynamic environment? Do you thrive in high-pressure situations and have a passion for providing exceptional patient care? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you in our Step-Down ICU and ICU units.

As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will utilize your clinical expertise to provide top-notch care for patients in a Level 1 Trauma Center. You will be responsible for collaborating with interdisciplinary team members, administering medications and treatments, and developing personalized care plans. Your ability to utilize critical thinking and escalate concerns appropriately will be key in ensuring patient safety and enhancing the patient experience.

Utilize the nursing process to care for patients in ICU and Step-Down ICU units Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to nursing standards and state laws Document patient care according to standards of care Develop and execute individualized patient care plans Participate in performance improvement activities and shared governance Provide clinical expertise and guidance to other units/departments Need 2 years experience in setting Current IL License, CPR, ACLS, NIHSS required Graduate of an accredited nursing program; education verification required
